NEOCO ("we", "us", "our") operates the website www.neocogen.com and the associated AI product video creation platform (collectively, "the Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

  • OAuth tokens from connected social media accounts
  • Publishing history (which content was posted to which platform and when)
  • Performance data pulled from social platforms (views, likes, comments, shares)

2.4 Usage Data

  • Features you use and how often
  • Pages visited and actions taken within the platform
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • IP address (used for security and fraud prevention only)
  • Log data (access times, error reports)

2.5 Payment Information

  • We do not store your credit card details on our servers
  • Payment processing is handled by Gumroad, which is PCI-DSS compliant
  • We store only transaction records (date, amount, plan type) — not card numbers

Data Shared: Transaction details (no card numbers pass through our servers)
Cloud hosting provider
Purpose: Store and serve platform data
Data Shared: Encrypted data on secure servers
Analytics tools
Purpose: Understand platform usage patterns
Data Shared: Anonymized and aggregated data only
Law enforcement
Purpose: When required by law
Data Shared: As legally compelled

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

5 Data Storage & Security

Access controls:

  • Only authorized engineering team members have access to production systems
  • All access is logged and audited
  • Employees access data only when needed to provide support or maintain the Service

Retention:

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active
  • Product data and generated content: Retained while your account is active, deleted within 90 days of account deletion
  • Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized after 12 months
  • Transaction records: Retained for 3 years as required by financial regulations

You may request early deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).

Security measures we take:

  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Two-factor authentication for internal systems
  • Automated monitoring for suspicious activity
  • Incident response plan in place

While we take all reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and enable any available security features on your account.

6 Third-Party Platforms

NEOCO interacts with third-party platforms in two ways:

6.1 E-commerce platforms (data import):

  • When you submit a product URL, we fetch publicly available product data
  • We access only the data available to any browser visitor
  • We do not log into your seller accounts or access private seller data
  • Data is fetched once at your request and not continuously monitored

6.2 Social media platforms (content publishing):

  • You connect your accounts via official OAuth authentication
  • You choose which permissions to grant
  • We can only perform actions you've explicitly authorized (publish content, read analytics)
  • You can revoke access at any time from your social media account settings or within NEOCO
  • We never post content without your explicit action (clicking Publish or approving a scheduled post)

Each third-party platform has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data. We encourage you to review their policies:

7 Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

Keep you logged in, remember preferences (e.g., Session token, language preference)

Exceptions to deletion:

  • Content already published to social media platforms cannot be recalled through NEOCO — you must delete it on the platform directly

9 Children's Privacy

NEOCO is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a minor under 18 has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.

10 International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to our servers and third-party processors in the USA.

We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, including:
